a fundraising coffee and dessert night will be held at the Armidale District Baptist Church Hall, 124 Jessie St, at 7.30 on Saturday.

The church is raising money for Watoto Children’s Ministries based in Uganda.

The Watoto Children’s Choir has visited Armidale in the past and was very well supported.

On Saturday night Sue and Warren Pepper and Glenn and Donna Pepper will share their experiences from their trip to Uganda in January. They went as part of a group to build homes and help out at Bulrushes, the Watoto babies’ home.

Cost of the evening is $5 and all money raised will go to help support the work of the Bulrushes project. For tickets call 0409 445-455 or email johnmarianne@northnet.com.au
