Mixed results for Uralla juniors

All junior Uralla rugby league teams travelled to Glen Innes on Saturday.

There was good support by family and friends to cheer the teams on.

In the under eights Uralla thrashed Glen Innes 54-8, and best and fairest points went to Matt Morris, Toby Cooper and Liam Connell while for Glen the honours went to Buddy Roberts, Liam Peterson and Angus Ross.

Glen Innes won 16-0 in the under 10s, with Ashley Whitehead, Nathaniel Connors and Alex Fisher taking the points.

For Uralla Hayden Jarman, Scott McGann and Moses Olsen were voted best and fairest.

Tyson Nikora, Jared Jessip and Jordan Press got the nod in the under 12s, won by Uralla 24-6, while for Glen Innes J Higan, B Simpkins and B Coco took the points.

Both the under 14 and under 16 games were won by Glen, by 32-28 and 64-10 respectively.

In the under 14s Danny White, Ricki McDowall and Sean Callies were best and fairest, while in the under 16s they points went to Sam Heaney, William Tearle and Daniel Haines.

The sides travel to Armidale this weekend.
